Rolldust Privacy Policy

Effective: 27 October 2026

In short: Rolldust does not collect any personal data. The app has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and we run no servers for it. Your photos and everything Rolldust learns about them stay on your iPhone.

Who we are

Access to your photos

Rolldust asks for access to your photo library so it can show your photos and videos, measure their sizes, and delete or favorite the ones you choose. All of this happens on your iPhone. You can give access to only some photos, or change access at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → Rolldust.

If you use iCloud Photos, iOS may download a photo or video from iCloud so Rolldust can show it, and your changes sync through iCloud. That is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy; we never receive your photos.

Receipts and documents

To find receipts and documents, Rolldust uses Apple's on-device image analysis. Photos are analysed on your iPhone, and the results are stored only on your iPhone.

Information stored on your iPhone

Rolldust saves the following inside the app on your device:

• your decisions for each photo or video (keep, delete, favorite or later) and your progress per month;
• how much space you have freed;
• your settings, such as what counts as a big photo or video;
• how many free swipes you have used today;
• the results of the receipts and documents analysis.

We cannot see this information. It may be included in your iPhone backups like other app data, and it is removed when you delete the app.

Deleting and favoriting

Rolldust deletes or favorites items only when you ask it to, through Apple's Photos framework. Before anything is deleted, iOS asks you to confirm, and deleted items stay in Recently Deleted in the Photos app for 30 days.

Purchases

Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment details or your Apple Account information; the app only learns from Apple whether you have an active purchase.

Sharing

If you share a photo or video from Rolldust, it goes only where you choose through the iOS share sheet.

Children

Rolldust does not collect personal data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will publish the new version on this page with a new effective date.
